QUINTA DO POPA

The story of Quinta de Pôpa began with the dream of Francisco Ferreira (known as Pôpa), the bastard of a great Douro wine producer and his maid – Joaquina Ferreira. A generation later, his son Zeca completed his father’s dream and bought Quinta do Vidiedo, located in Adorigo – Tabuaço. As a tribute to his father, he changes the name and calls his property Quinta do Pôpa.
